Under 17 qualifies in South Korea
Nigeria has qualified for the finals of the FIFA under 17 world championship, in South Korea.
In the second semi final played this afternoon the Golden Eaglets defeated Germany 3-1 in Suwon.
Striker Marculay Chrisantus gave Eaglets the lead in the 10th minute before Yakubu Alfa made it two with a volley in the 18th minute.
Germany however scored their only goal in the 32nd minute through Captain Hean Cruz.
The Germans stepped up the pressure in the 2nd half but Kabiru Akinshola profited from a third blunder by the German Keeper to seal victory for Nigeria.
The Golden Eaglets who last won the trophy in Japan in 1993 battles Spain in the final on Sunday.
