NAPTIP calls for involvement of women in child trafficking campaign   

The Executive Secretary of the National
 

Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and Other Related Matters, NAPTIP, Mrs. Carol Ndaguba has emphasized the need for women to be more involved in the child trafficking campaign.

Mrs. Carol Ndaguba made the call when the wives of Defence Attaches to Embassies in the country paid her a courtesy call in Abuja.

She frowned at situations where mothers abandoned the care of their children to under aged house helps.

Mrs. Carol Ndaguba said the Child Trafficking Campaign has been a success story as more people are aware and taking precaution.

Responding on behalf of the wives of the Defence Attaches, Mrs. Edna Blay from Ghana commended NAPTIP effort in the fight against child trafficking.
