Air lift of Nigerian Pilgrims back home in progress

Thirty-six thousand Pilgrims have been transported back to Nigeria from Saudi Arabia since the out-0bound operations commenced on the 24th of the last month.

The National Haji Commission of Nigeria Commissioner in charge of Administration and Finance, Alhaji Liad Tella told the News Agency of Nigeria in Jeddah that the Saudi authorities had rectified the delays experienced in the screening of Nigerian Pilgrims.

He expressed confidence that all out-bound flights would be completed by the January 14, 2008 deadline.
About ninety thousands Nigerians performed this year’s Pilgrimage.
