Rehabilitation of the Abuja National Mosque has begun. Chairman of the Mosque Management Board, the Etsu Nupe,
Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, said the rehabilitation work is expected to be completed within the next thirty five working days.
Alhaji Abubakar noted that this was the first time the Mosque was undergoing rehabilitation since its completion in 1990.
Part of the rehabilitation work includes improving water supply to the Mosque, painting of the entire edifice as well as repair of the heat extractors.
