GROUP FETES SPEAKER ELECT

The emergence of a female speaker in the House of Representatives continues to receive kudos from women across the country.

Speaking at a Dinner to celebrate the inauguration of Mrs. Patricia Olubumi Etteh as the first female speaker, the member representing Ika federal constituency, Delta State in the House of Representatives, Mrs. Doris Ubo says the development will serve as an encouragement to other aspiring women politicians and professionals.

Mrs. Ubo enjoined women not to be hindered by feminine tendency in their bid to reach the top.
She promised to use her position to enhance the living standard of the people of her constituency.
