Health: Minister calls for establishment of Lassa fever Network

Adenike Grange has called for the establishment of a Lassa Fever Network for collation of date on disease burden and improved surveillance system.

In a statement, the Minister also said the drug for Lassa fever should be readily and constantly available at an affordable cost in all Health Institutions across the Country.

Professor Grange said Lassa fever accounted for twenty five percent Maternal Mortality in endemic areas.
