Abia: Police arrests Clerk of Tribunal for tampering with exhibit

Command has arrested a Clerk with the State Election Petitions Tribunal at the premises of the Umuahia High Court.
The Clerk, whose name was not disclosed was said to have tampered with an exhibit tendered in evidence in one of the House of Representatives cases brought before the Tribunal.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the Clerk who was seconded to the Tribunal from the Judiciary reportedly smuggled out vital documents in the custody of the Tribunal to a respondent, a member of the House of Representatives whose election was nullified by the Tribunal.
