Over 80 drivers of FRSC benefit from free eye tests

Over eighty drivers of the Federal
 

Road Safety Commission have benefited from free eye tests.

Speaking on the occasion, in Abuja, the Chief Route Commander of the Corps, Alhaji Ibrahim Angulu said the exercise was a pilot programme aimed at minimising road accidents.

One of the opticians that conducted the tests, Dr Omolara Ayorinde spoke on the various methods adopted in the exercise.

Some of the drivers that had their sighted examined expressed gratitude to FRSC Management for this initiative.

Correspondent reports that plans are underway to extend the exercise to other zones of the FRSC in the country.
