Court arraigns Principal for alleged involvement in husband’s murder

Thirty – eight year old school Principal, Mrs. Josephine Onuzulike alongside one Mr. Ekene Onyeka have been arraigned before an Abakaliki Magistrate court for alleged involvement in the murder of her husband, Mr. Chukwuma Onuzulike.

In a two count charge read during the court proceeding, Mrs. Onuzulike and Mr.Onyeka, who was said to be her boy friend, allegedly conspired and hired assassins who stabbed the husband to death.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr.Glasson Ugbala ruled that the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the case and therefore remanded the accused persons in prison custody and adjourned the case indefinitely.

Correspondent reports that the late Mr. Chukwuma Onuzulike was gruesomely murdered last month at his residence, number thirty –eight Convent Road, Abakaliki Ebonyi State.
