The Acting Governor of Kogi State, Mr. Clarence Olafemi has reinstated the Chief Judge of the State, Mr. Justice Uwaru Eri barely three days after his removal from office.
The Press Secretary to the Government elect, Mr. Richard Elesho, made this known in a statement in Lokoja. He said the government action followed the intervention of the Governor-elect.
Reports from Lokoja said the Chief Judge was relieved of his appointment by the Acting Governor upon the resolution of the State House of Assembly calling for his removal from office. The resolution was signed by nineteen out of the twenty five members.
