Christian Pilgrims Sureties to pay 1.2m for each defecting pilgrim

pay the sum of one-point-two million Naira for each defecting pilgrim.

The Chairman, Presidential Committee for Christian Pilgrimage, Archbishop Sunday Makinde, told the News Agency of Nigeria that the action would take effect from this year’s pilgrimage which begins this month.

The Prelate appealed to prospective pilgrims not to take God for granted.
He called on the pilgrims to see the pilgrimage as a spiritual exercise.
