Prophet urges Govt to keep faith on 2008 budget

The Federal Government has been urged to faithfully implement the 2008 budget after its passage by the National Assembly.

The General Evangelist of CAC worldwide Prophet Samuel Abiara made the appeal in an address to commence a three day prayer for the Peace and Progress of the country in Akure, the Ondo State Capital.

Prophet Abiara who lauded the budget proposal, called on the Federal Government to ensure that security, road construction and provision of employment to unemployed youths were given priority in the implementation of the budget.

He observed that most of the accidents on the nation’s highways especially along the Lagos, Ibadan expressway were caused by indiscriminate packing by trailer drivers.

Prophet Samuel Abiara there appealed to the government to relocate the trailer drivers.
