Benue: Tribunal nullifies Jime’s Election

The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Markudi has nullified the election of Mr. Emmanuel Jime of the PDP representing Markudi Guma Federal constituency in Benue State.

In a two hour judgement, read by Justice Bilikisu Aliu, the Tribunal held that the petition filed by Mr. Clement Uhondu of the ANPP proved that the election took place only in eight polling units of the twenty-one Council wards that make-up the constituency.
