AFAN seeks more cottage industries

The All Farmers Association of Nigeria, AFAN has called on government at all levels to establish cottage industries across the country to boost food production.

 

The Chairman of the Kogi State Chapter of the Association, Dr. Tunde Arosanyin told Radio Nigeria in Abuja that industries would also prevent wastage of farm produce.


Dr. Arosanyin further called on the present administration to ensure that the commodities Association was carried along in the Agricultural sector.


He emphasised the need to make agricultural practice more attractive to the youth by creating an enabling environment.
