Ciroma expresses contentment over FG’s decision on Naira policy
A former Boss of the Apex Bank, Mallam Adamu Ciroma has showered encomiums on the Federal Government for putting on hold, the re-denomination of Naira policy recently announced by the CBN.

He told newsmen in Abuja that Government’s position on the matter was right.

Mallam Ciroma said there was need to open such sensitive policy for national discussion before being introduced by the Apex Bank.

The former CBN Chief said such a major shift in the policy must be well understood by Nigerians as it has so many implications on the economy.

The elder Statesman said there is no need to rush the policy down the throat of Nigerians who are the ultimate users without allowing them to digest and understand the benefits to both the economy and to the users.
