House member refutes report of his recall

Representatives from Enugu State, Chief Kanayo Oguakwa has denied   the reported collation of votes to recall him from the National Assembly.

Instead, the lawmaker said his true constituents have been compiling signatures with a view to passing a vote of confidence in him.
Chief Kanayo Oguakwa, who represents Awgu, Oji River and Aniri Federal Constituency of Enugu State in the Federal Legislature, urged the people to remain calm and steadfast.

 The move to recall Chief Oguakwa from the House for alleged anti-party activities began two months ago.
