Gombe to establish road maintenance agency

In Gombe state, a road maintenance Agency is to be established to ensure regular maintenance of roads within the state.

In a New Year message, Governor Mohammed Goje said given then huge amount of money spent on the construction of roads, the state government would do its best to ensure they were regularly maintained.
 
He promised to improve on achievements recorded last year in health, education and agriculture sector among others.

The governor called on the people to be law abiding as peace was necessary for any meaningful development.
