Ebonyi indigenes call govt to improve quality of living

As Nigeria enter another calendar year, a cross section of people in Ebonyi State wants governments at all levels to do more to improve the quality of lives of citizens.

Most of them who spoke to Radio Nigeria stressed the need to address the welfare of workers and basic amenities, especially in the rural areas.

Other said they would want the revival of education sector, starting from the primary level. To others, the most important issue that needs attention is that of economy.

Newsmen reports that the people urged the government to also look into the plights of the less privileged persons scattered on major roads in the country.
