Kaduna: FG appoints investor to establish Waste Recycling Plant

The Federal Government has appointed an investor to establish a Waste Recycling Plant in Kaduna State.

 

 The Director Environment in Kaduna State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Alhaji Sha'aban Abubakar disclosed this to newsmen at a refuse evacuation exercise in Kaduna.

 He said the tripartite agreement would be executed under the Integrated Waste Management Facility.

 Alhaji Sha'aban announced that twenty-two spots had been identified within the Metropolis for the construction of public toilets for public convenience.

 Also speaking, the General Manager of Kaduna State Environmental Protection Agency announced that twenty-two companies had been appointed to carryout house-to-house refuse evacuation in the Metropolis.

 Correspondent reports that the refuse evacuation was carried out in Narayi, Maraban Jos, and Badarawa.
