Former Awe LG Chairman & 2 principal officials arraigned in court

The Former Chairman of Awe Local Government of Nasarawa State, Saidu Musa and two Principal Officials of the Council have been arraigned in Court for corruption.

 

In a statement, the ICPC said that the officials spent twenty-three million naira between April and December 2004 for vehicle repairs, fuelling and maintenance of office over and above the allocated sum of one hundred thousand naira.

Similarly, two vehicle Inspection Officers in Sapele, Delta State, Mr Tadefe Igho and Spencer Ofa have been charged to Court in Kwale for allegedly demanding and receiving a bribe of ten thousand naira from a motorist.
